i feel you I liked Morrison's run but alot of people don't. In reality though they should have separated the two universes though. x-men don't really fit in mainstream marvel.

The Vast majority of people loved Morrison's X-Men run though. It was critically acclaimed and is still one of Marvel's best selling Omnibus.

The X-Men fit in the proper Marvel Universe. The problem was Marvel did a piss poor job of integrating everything and never came up with a solid answer as to why the Avengers and Fantastic four were loved while Mutants were feared and hated.

Morrison tried to fix a lot of that stuff but Marvel pissed on a lot of his work.

what can i tell you internet. :manny:

but naw they don't fit cause like you said how would the average joe tell the difference between super heroes and mutants. Also the avengers let the sentinel program fly?

perhaps after the AVX this will fix it. This new EIC seems like he is trying to give a balance to mutants and mainstream marvel.

Morrison's stuff got kind of silly. Sublime, the weird wack shyt with Emma/Jean/Scott, those horrible add ons(Ernst, Beak, fake Angel)...Cat Beast. I mean you have to wait until Dark Beast shows up to even remember how Beast used to look:laugh:

Just a case of different artist drawing him different all the time. Sometimes he looks like a cat, sometimes he looks like a Lion, sometimes he looks like an ape, and on one occasion someone drew him like a bear.

Some artists just don't give a fukk and draw things however they want. Black Panther's costume has changed like 4 times during AvsX.

I have always had that issue with the Marvel U. A supermodel looking chick like Storm shows up and people go running for their lives but The Thing is beloved by the public? Get outta here with that nonsense.

I always felt that mutants should have had something physical that was different and/or have powers that are are more "realistic", not shooting optic blast or anything that only has a use as a weapon.

There alot of mutants like that..obscure ones like the one in Avengers vs X-Men from the 80s limited series. The Asian guy who can tell if you are lying or some shyt that helped Magneto in China..he used his powers to become somewhat wealthy.

LIke I said, Morrison did a good job of moving things forward in a logical direction but Marvel had to go and fukk it up after he left the series.
