Comixology really trying to take all my money with these Prime Day/SDCC sales. .

DC 60% off sale. Copped Watchmen for $4, all the Green Lanterns trades for the same, all the Doomsday Clock issues for $2 apiece, New Teen Titans books for $5.20, all the No Justice and Justice League issues for $1.60 (except issue 3 because the sale doesn't include issues from this month), and I was considering catching up on Flash and Detective Comics, which I'm currently trade waiting.

Plus Image buy one get one free sale has me eyeing Saga, Reborn and Kill or be Killed.

Only plus side is I can save on the Marvel sale since I'm subscribed to Unlimited, but I still got Marvel 2-in-one volume 1 coming tomorrow.

Why are they pushing this Nnedi Okorafor chick as the only black female writer allowed to write black female characters? Her comic work is TERRIBLE and Shuri's long awaited solo return after 10 years is going to be wasted bc Marvel thinks finding one and only one black female writer, regardless of talent, and throwing her on every book with a black female, is somehow how you cultivate your industry

6-7 months ago, Marvel was hyping up all these rainbow colored x-men shyts as a return back to the early 90s era when the x-men were at or near their peak popularity (or something).
