im pretty sure all the readers in here are on the immortal hulk book.

I’m not sure I’ve ever read anything quite like it in comic books, which is why I slept early. Hated the premise of it at first, but man. All at once that book is

X-23 has been on one; Gabby is probably my fave x-man right now . Tom King’s Batman is up there for me too, even though it’s been a really slow build. Justice League, Heroes in Crisis and x-men extinction too.

I could see what Millar was trying to do with Prodigy but I wasn't feeling the main character

Die #1 was cool but the inner monologue boxes were confusing

Is the AoA omni worth upgrading? I already have the 4 TPB and the prelude, but I saw the omnibus for 50 bucks.

Yeah that's the full lineup. It's like DnA's Guardians mixed with their Annihilators team.

That's what I was thinking. Add Ronan and this team is basically the Annihilators +.

Gabby is great

Overall, comics are in a good place as far as writing is concerned. Somme of the art needs t catch up, but I can deal with it...

Call me crazy, but I wish they hadn’t brought Logan back. Laura and Gabby have more than held down the mantle of Wolverine since he’s been dead. Going back to All-New Wolverine they’ve easily had the best x-book going; only X-men Red is in the convo imo.

I hope they aren’t going to be pushed aside now that he’s back.

I also wonder if, for some kids, Laura IS Wolverine, the way Wally West is the Flash for a generation of readers, or Jon is their green lantern.

she hasnt been wolverine in any media that long for that to be. wally had fans stemming from after COIE and barry didnt start a resurgence until fairly recenty. justice league was just the icing on the cake. john being kids gl is crazy to me. not for any negative reasons, but the fact that both john and kyle were in the dcau before hal was.

You’re right. Realistically it wouldn’t make sense, especially since they responded to offing Wolverine by introducing 14 wolverines from alternate timelines. Laura and Gabby never really got to own the role of Logan’s replacement, and with the short amount of time that’s passed its back to status quo I guess.
