Well, thanks to this thread, I feel I'm caught up between the clutterfukk of both DC and Marvel. I haven't touched any comic book because of One More Day, Cry For Justice, Civil War, Teen Titans/Young Justice: Graduation Day. The only thing I've thought about reading is Invincible.

From what I've read, there's still decent amount of bs.

Is there anything worth picking up?

Depends on what you like. As for big events:

-Hickman’s Avengers run is damn good. His saga had 2 events attached to it: Infinity and Secret Wars.

-DC’s Blackest Night is good.

More than likely went to my last Con this year. Picked up a bunch of mini-series in the dollar bin:

.Robocop 2 Marvel adaptation
.Lone Ranger/Zorro: Death of Zorro
.New Avengers/Transformers (3/4 issues)
.DC’s Scary Monsters (Claremont) (5/6 issues)
.DC’s Generations 3 (11/12 issues)
.DC’s 2,000
.Secret Wars: AOU vs. Marvel Zombies
.Secret Wars: Marvel Zombies
.What If? AOU
.X-Men Extermination
.Wolverine Noir
.Siege
.Siege Embedded

Blackest Night? Is that a cosmic space thing? Green Lantern shyt?

What's this New 52 thing? Another reboot?

Yeah it was but DC didn't really have the balls to really reboot. Batman essentially remained the same with some slight changes. The basically went back to the post Crisis DC universe with Rebirth back in 2016.

I hope some day Grant Morrison will make a list of all the specific drugs he was on while working on certain books. I know my man felt insulted when comic book fans kept saying he must've been on crack when he wrote Final Crisis but goddamn if this Green Lantern run doesn't feel like some of the most drug-fueled writing Morrison has done since the late 80s.:russ:
