Why'd you think it would be bad? Scott Snyder will go down in comic book history as writing one of the definitive runs on Batman.

There are very few Batman stories/runs that incorporate all the different genres of the character (detective fiction, crime thriller, action, gothic horror) like his.

Snyder's been an overrated hack since Court Of The Owls ended. Every story he's done since is the same overblown try-hard major event story, repeating the exact same story beats and tropes over and over again.

Real shyt, that convo was the highlight of the issue. Probably the highlight of the run so far. That convo was top notch.

the writing has been on point in general...I can't recall any corny lines being made by anyone yet....usually there are a handful in just one comic

West where the Sunsets
All Star Batman was LIT:banderas:
I like Romita Jr art so that's a plus
Snyder actually uses the Duke character
And It's a much Bigger and epic story than King's

How many issues is this running?
Should be ongoing. Not sure if you read a hard copy or digital, but in the hard copy in the bulletin at the end is a letter written from Snyder. He mentioned several different artists and that this the first arc.
