Kanye showing tribute to us once again. However you may feel about him, you gotta appreciate the fact that he’s vocal about where he got his whole style from and how he started getting serious with fashion unlike these other places that like to dikkride us on the low and not acknowledge that DMV influence.

While I’m not from here I’ll always give Wale the respect because he put me on to certain fashion shyt that was dope. Always funny how people think I blend in style wise but East Cleveland and the Heights and DC fashion are similar in a lot of ways.

I want to buy in PG, preferably something close to a metro station (Largo, CP, PG Plaza etc) but the property taxes in PG are ridiculous. If this infrastructure bill gets funded and there's a large increase in Amtrak / Maglev funding then Baltimore might be the move, especially if telecommuting remains the dominant mode of work. 50 mins from Penn Station to Union Station, if the Maglev hits then that's 20 mins between DC and Baltimore.

Look like Devin the Dude fk around wit it too. :whew:

Das live!

I know Z-RO would fk up some #s out there.

MAN! I'm a big Ro fan and I been sayin for years he would kill it out here....Him headlining with Face and Devin at constitution hall or the anthem would be lit!
But I aint mad at the breh his past issues are well documented I'm sure he does just fine being content in the lone star

But yeah DC is like a second home to Face ....he got a lot of family ties here and Jersey....Part of the reason him and Pac where so close

Shouts out to Premo Rice BTW seems like breh is gaining a lot of traction in the game...

Funding For Southern Maryland Light Rail Project Passes In General Assembly

Charles County, which borders PG county, is getting light rail from Branch Ave in Suitland, follow rt 5/301 through Brandywine, down to Waldorf & La Plata. This is area is similar to PGC…high black ownership, most affluent black communities in the US, etc. I’m pretty sure this project will drive home values along the proposed route. I’m looking to invest in this area

Y’all definitely give Premo Rice new album a listen to and check out the rest of his catalogue afterwards. His new album is prolly the best DMV rap album I’ve heard since IWASVERYBAD by IDK (who, just like Premo, is also from PG County). Premo is making a name for himself especially with how he likes to spit motivational, swag, and chill raps. Some of his music might have an updated 80’s feel and even a lil West Coast touch to them but last I checked he’s living in LA either full time or part time.

Whole album got that 1993 Mercedes-Benz S600 energy :banderas:

I can’t wait to see the results. They’re building like crazy around Timothy Branch here in Brandywine and are even adding in apartment complexes too across the street from brand new houses and townhomes. And on top of that, it feels like Clinton has had a population boom over the last decade and the place is starting to look and feel like a small city at this point. The light rail will definitely be much appreciated out here. It would be nice if they could consider the National Harbor in the light rail connection as well tho.
