The World, but from BK
For the folks living in DC, do y'all feel its still very segregated?.... because I go down there often and feel it is. I don't live there though, but maybe in the future, so I'm trying to get y'all perspective.

It's not anymore racially segregated than Manhattan or Houston.

If anything, it's economically segregated.

Rich people live with other rich people, and within that there's a fair amount of diversity.

And even there, DC forces new buildings to have some low income apartments in buildings for rich transplants. And that goes as well as you might expect.

it’s segregated just like any other east coast city. there are a few areas that are diverse: Columbia Heights, Adams Morgan, Eastern Market, Noma

On another note, y’all been to Stan’s downtown?

Said to have some of the best wings in the city. I’d say it’s between them or Duffy’s

In Your Opinion, name a city that's integrated

I've lived in TX, LA, MI, AL, FL, NY, and been to other random places in the US for work and pleasure - and I can't think of a place that's integrated.

Ex. - New York City has lots of different people - but it's not like you've got Hasids over for din din, or watching the game in Flushing with the Chinese Aunties.

maybe someone put up a basketball court in the middle of Fort Dupont Park for reasons.

I will say as a kid kids used to be in the woods now with helocopter parents even in the hood you'll get hit by a herd of deer out there now.

Lol I've seen more deer in SE DC than I ever saw in Texas. Had a fawn in the yard hiding behind some dead branches.
