I will say as a kid kids used to be in the woods now with helocopter parents even in the hood you'll get hit by a herd of deer out there now.
No hunting in DC so the Deer get out of control esoecially in the winter they be popping out everywhere.Lol I've seen more deer in SE DC than I ever saw in Texas. Had a fawn in the yard hiding behind some dead branches.
