This is the 2nd time this week i've seen @philmonroe hop in a peaceful thread and create instant beef. :dead:However, I agree 100% with this...

@ORDER_66 put all your effort and money into generating a loyal fanbase for your book before you start trying to eat off merchandising. The opportunity to make money off clothing items, coffee mugs, baseball hats... will come after you establish a strong brand with your book. If you start trying to sell merchandise at this stage in the game, you're going to have to spend money/time on manufacturing AND trying to convince people to buy hats, shirts, and mugs with a picture of a character they know nothing about.

Now if your book is a hit, and you have a decent fanbase, you no longer have to explain the merchandise. People will look at your items like "Thats Aaron Jackson!":krs: And once they purchase, they become a walking advertisement free of cost.

IMO, all your money/time should be dedicated to making your book a hit before you start branching off into anything else.
I don't try fam but sometimes stuff is peaceful because nobody saying what needs to be said. Its just cats yes manning all the merry long day. Take what I said to that loser fakkit out of the discussion you'll see I just gave real talk not no pandering bullshyt that if you think about it don't make sense. Its just too many people online dint try to rock the boat and be on here trying to make friends and shyt. Not me I had a disagreement with dude Order66 like a week ago now I'm giving advice. Its nothing personal to me you argue/disagree, talk your shyt, neg each other, whatever and then the next time its all love. That's how I roll on/offline but everybody ain't built that way.

Why y'all two muthafukkas beefin' for?!!? :dahell: I get what both of y'all is saying... Here's the thing I'll find a good price point with the clothing, I can sell them for $20 a pop. I'm not worried for trying to sell it for iceberg level. I can always adjust it later. I understand in this economy people dont have disposable money to waste it on a shirt that costs much as a pair of jordans especially no name ones'.

I believe in my product so much I am taking a chance on everything...

And I figure if I can purchase the shirts for cheap like $5 and sell them for $20 I'll make a $15 profit a pop... That's a decent profit to begin with...

Y'all two need to just calm down lets all get this paper fukk the differences in ideology and methods. if it works, it works.

@Blackthoughts @philmonroe
:birdman: let's get it...

PS: I'm researching how to take from my 401K to start my business off regardless even though I will incur a tax penalty of some sort. That's how much I believe in myself. fukk the limitations, life is too short to be arguing over bullshyt.
Dude is giving out silly advice and mad somebody say anything to him about it. I'm not beefing and he's nothing anyway so its all good. The bytch got me on ignore so he won't see me trashing him for the bytch and failure he is and you don't have to worry about us going back and forth anymore. Prosper my man prosper.

need more info breh

started a Foodie/Travel IG, made a Wordpress page but never used the Word Press. My IG has grown over the past yr, so I`m trying to figure out what I need to do to monetize the traffic. I`m assuming there are tools to automate IG Posts to go straight to the Wordpress, and then those links can be automated to be posted to say a Facebook and or Twitter.

What do y'all think of my site www.fteswl.com :salute:

Site is cool, looks like u just getting started......just promote your podcast...move your subscription widget to the top so people can subscribe easily and take off your FB page feed until u get at least 200 likes IMO

I've made almost $33k in less than 4 months selling personalized shyt on Etsy. After paying the Etsy fees and the manufacturer who makes the products, my takeaway has been about 3/4 of that. Not bad for part-time work (a few hours a day) and all done on my laptop and Adobe Illustrator.

For those who think they can't make money online sitting at home everyday... it's possible. I started with less than $100.

Still need more info lol

How many followers?

So you want to get your IG followers to your Wordpress site? Is this Wordpress.ORG or .COM

yeah you can set it up so your IG posts go to your FB, Twitter, Tumblr, Blog, etc...on my website in my sig, you can see my IG updates in the footer

The thing about monetizing a website is you have to pick a niche with people who want to spend money...what would you sell to them? Unless you are pullin in heavy traffic, advertisements won't amount to much...affiliate marketing could work...write articles on affiliate products for travelers and foodies who love to cook

Detailed articles like this -> The Best Pull-up Bars

That website is a money maker, it's ridiculous how much they make

Don't think about automation yet b...you got to be active in the beginning if you want to make money on autopilot.

I'm curious, @Brooklynzson @cook did y'all take any web designing classes? How did y'all pull this shyt off?
Gonna answer for them, this doesn't really require a class at all. If you know how to install through cpanel and buy xenforo you could get a forum up in no time :manny:

Their true skill was having a fan base and keeping a growing 1 cuz anyone can run a forum.. not everyone can run an active 1.

Edit - Xenforo aint cheap, at least for a broke boi like me.

I was more so thinking about ad rev but I know that isn't ish. Selling goods would be cool, but the thing like you said is following a niche especially with people becoming more aware of things like alibaba and such. I have my own domain that is hosted via wordpress .

Yeah man you gotta really zone in on who your audience is first then you will know what to sell to them. Things like age, gender, income level, specific interests etc. If it's too broad, you might need to niche down. It's much easier to make money from a 25-year-old woman who loves juicing and tasty salads than from young women who just like food. Personally, I'd pick either a food niche or a travel niche. Not both.

The thing is how to make money off the say Foodie thing. I figured ad revenue would be the way to make some money. Keep in mind my train of though was "hey I like eating, and post pics, I might as well make a blog of some sorts". When I think of e commerce I know I could make money selling goods such as electronics, hair care, etc, but like I said my focus on this was to try and make some money on something I would be doing regardless which is traveling and going to the best/food spots in these cities.
