I don't try fam but sometimes stuff is peaceful because nobody saying what needs to be said. Its just cats yes manning all the merry long day. Take what I said to that loser fakkit out of the discussion you'll see I just gave real talk not no pandering bullshyt that if you think about it don't make sense. Its just too many people online dint try to rock the boat and be on here trying to make friends and shyt. Not me I had a disagreement with dude Order66 like a week ago now I'm giving advice. Its nothing personal to me you argue/disagree, talk your shyt, neg each other, whatever and then the next time its all love. That's how I roll on/offline but everybody ain't built that way.This is the 2nd time this week i've seen @philmonroe hop in a peaceful thread and create instant beef.However, I agree 100% with this...
@ORDER_66 put all your effort and money into generating a loyal fanbase for your book before you start trying to eat off merchandising. The opportunity to make money off clothing items, coffee mugs, baseball hats... will come after you establish a strong brand with your book. If you start trying to sell merchandise at this stage in the game, you're going to have to spend money/time on manufacturing AND trying to convince people to buy hats, shirts, and mugs with a picture of a character they know nothing about.
Now if your book is a hit, and you have a decent fanbase, you no longer have to explain the merchandise. People will look at your items like "Thats Aaron Jackson!"And once they purchase, they become a walking advertisement free of cost.
IMO, all your money/time should be dedicated to making your book a hit before you start branching off into anything else.
Dude is giving out silly advice and mad somebody say anything to him about it. I'm not beefing and he's nothing anyway so its all good. The bytch got me on ignore so he won't see me trashing him for the bytch and failure he is and you don't have to worry about us going back and forth anymore. Prosper my man prosper.Why y'all two muthafukkas beefin' for?!!?I get what both of y'all is saying... Here's the thing I'll find a good price point with the clothing, I can sell them for $20 a pop. I'm not worried for trying to sell it for iceberg level. I can always adjust it later. I understand in this economy people dont have disposable money to waste it on a shirt that costs much as a pair of jordans especially no name ones'.
I believe in my product so much I am taking a chance on everything...
And I figure if I can purchase the shirts for cheap like $5 and sell them for $20 I'll make a $15 profit a pop... That's a decent profit to begin with...
Y'all two need to just calm down lets all get this paper fukk the differences in ideology and methods. if it works, it works.
@Blackthoughts @philmonroe
let's get it...
PS: I'm researching how to take from my 401K to start my business off regardless even though I will incur a tax penalty of some sort. That's how much I believe in myself. fukk the limitations, life is too short to be arguing over bullshyt.
