Pogba is the last of Man U's issues. at the same time he isn't the first or last world class player that has played with below par players around him lol.

He has underperformed ,and goes missing more times than not. And team prizes don't tell u how good you are as an individual player:mjlol: that is just an excuse to defend players. Any top talent can look great around other great players. is when ur surrounded by mostly average players and u till find a way for u to shine and help the team win games. Players like totti, Stevie G etc have managed to play in average squads for most of their careers and still manage to pull the team and themselves to great wins.
It’s much harder for a midfielder to showcase their skills being hampered by terrible tactics then a forward or a defender. :martin:

totti and Stevie played as attacking midfielders. Totti sometimes as a striker. Different positions...come on man

Nah, both forwards and midfielders breh. Imagine Ancelotti played Inzaghi like a Vardy.

Gerrard didnt get moved to AM/#10 full time till Mascherano got there. Prior to that Houllier and Benitez played him CM and RM.

Question here.

Frank Rijkaard, now I'm not Mr Tactics and all that. But how was he never able to get at least 1 other bigish club manager job again after Barca?

I think between how his Barcelona reign ended and the media fall out of the breakup of his marriage, when he moved in with the nanny and then married her. He was most likely offered/spoken to about big jobs, but the reality is, he couldnt be phucked to be high profile anymore.

That Barca team became the 90s Cowboys near the end.

This season might be a loss, but man they got this right.

If we're going off #TheBrand, Arsenal are the biggest club around. Waviest jerseys and apparel, sexiest manager, coolest name, Saliba's IG Videos, Twitter followers, London.
