I mentioned it earlier in this thread, but Chelsea wasted money on Lukaku imo. Havertz would have been capable of holding down the CF position for the season while they could have financed a Haaland tranfer in the next summer transfer window. Chelsea play a brand of total football. Goals are literally coming from all over the pitch. Havertz in this system is just as effective as Lukaku imo. He runs channels well, holds up the ball, and actually has better interplay. Lukaku is a better finisher, but he's lacking in build up play in this system.

Anyway, good half of football despite the quality of the opposition. Expect to see Ziyech and Saul at some point in the 2nd half for PT.

Tuchel doesn't have the luxury of waiting for Havertz/Werner to get it. He needed a proven scorer. If he doesn't challenge like make it till the end of the April for the Prem or make semis/retain CL he getting the sack. Marina/Roman want return on their investment. Once Roman signed off on last summers spending it's a new cycle and whoever is the coach is on the clock they cannot do an United or Arsenal and do let's wait and see.

Also the Fat Waiter phucked up Lukakus transfer back to Chelsea last time. It's something that both Lukaku and Marina wanted to put right.
