Algeria is best team in Africa IMO. Havent lost in years and have maintained same core of team that won AFCON. They should impress in Qatar.

Yeah if we go through we’ll be in Pot 1, but the field is still quite stacked even in Pot 2.

Huge frauds. TBH, North African teams don’t do much come AFCON/WC. Egypt is a bit of an anomaly but their national team is pretty much Al-Ahly (best FC in Africa proper) so they play very well as a team compared to other African nations that have their players scattered across European and African clubs.

They were the best ranked team on the 2nd pot according to FIFA but missed out by 3 spots vs Mali & DRC for pot 1
