I never understood why Chelsea got rid of Werner can a fan fill me in? He wasnt clinical but still a good useful plsayer for the team

He was brought in to score goals, but wasn't able to do so.

Despite not getting on the score sheet, he was a workhorse and was able to get in behind defenders due to his speed.

You can't really blame the board for wanting another striker because he's just not good in front of goal. Ironically, he's probably also too good to keep on the bench. Best compromise was to move to a lesser team.

Most likely not getting that in January tbh. I do feel we need a left winger to give Martinelli some relief because he's going to burn out I feel. However, I do want to see Reiss get more chances because I think he should have a spot on this team imo. I would've said we need to get a 6, but Elneny back does provide some relief imo. We do need another midfielder though because I don't trust Lokonga tbh
