Didn’t watch too much of him but pre his WC injury he did alright. After that it was a struggle to get back into form.
Again, I still think he got outsized criticism. Almost as if people were looking for a reason to get on his case. The whole of Bayern underperformed badly last season. They should have gone trophy-less but Dortmund was Dortmund.
Also a black player from Europe and a black player from Africa are two different things.
