everything u saying is right all am saying it doesn't necessarily guaranteed that pool or more arsenal will take advantage...... they should, specially arsenal but u never knowRodri being out weakens their set piece defending and that they cannot replace that within the squad unless putting Stones in the Rodri role. But we all know Stones isn't durable enough to play week in week out.
Could put Gundogan there but then Citeh lose the box crashing element of Gundogan game.

yes and no...yea the marking on the set pieces would have definetly been different, i think i saw walker and the doki on the first corner and then on the second one i was like why they marking GabrielI'm just saying that Rodri being injured causes a different issue beyond what he does in their build up that people are overlooking. Would Rodri been marking Gabriel instead of Doku and then Walker? Would he of made much difference who knows? But I'm sure teams saw a weakness from yesterday's game at thise set pieces.
even if rodri was on the pitch u gotta get one of your taller man on Gabi and saliba.....To give arsenal credit , their corners would hurt dawn near every team.Rodri being out weakens their set piece defending and that they cannot replace that within the squad unless putting Stones in the Rodri role. It’s just lazy posting is what it is.Not to mention KDB is an offensive threat but he's not box to box. Rodri is the key to their entire transition as well. KDB/Foden/Bernardo doesn't get the ball in dangerous positions without Rodri. Kovacic is NOT as progressive as Rodri nor does he get away with the same skullduggery.
I don't see how people can say arguably the best holding mid in the world for at least 3 years is "not a big loss".
Don't want to see anyone injured, unless they play for Tottenham, so I hope he recovers soon.
