Just to add more context. Alphonso Davies just renewed his contract at Bayern through 2030 and it’s reported he’ll get €15M a season in salary and €20M as a sign on bonus paid throughout the life of his contract, so about €20M a season.

The new contract would make him one of the highest earners at Bayern and one of the highest paid defenders in Europe. Equates to about €300k a week, however, this money is taxed so he’s probably only going to see half that.

Boniface is up and coming so he’d not make anything close to that in Europe even with a big move. After taxes he’s making double what one of the best defenders in Europe is making….

I will always advocate nikkas should take that money and set their family up for generations and I think it’s stupid not to, this shyt just a game, I’m a dad, if I have an opportunity to go get silly money in context when all pros getting silly money I’m taking that shyt fukk what I can accomplish in the game


Boniface has been disappointing for us so far there’s no 2 ways about it, tbf I think he’s only had maybe 3/4 starts or any significant amount of minutes to really show what he can do and we still waiting to actually see what a him and Big Vic partnership could actually look like for various reasons


I’m at a loss to why Gift Orban ain’t been given a chance, Lyon move didn’t really work for him and I know there’s been talk about Togo disputing his eligibility for us but it really makes no sense why we’ve not took a look at him
