Nobody on the planet does heroic failure quite like Arsenal :sadcam:

Ozil showed some bollocks tonight, thought he was actually good. It was Alexis who was fukking up left, right and center. Walcott did nothing when he came on aswell but he should have come on for Alexis, not Welbeck who was playing well up to that point.

Ah well, "next season...." :troll:

yeah alexis needs a break, he was dog shyt out there.

He's not quite fitting in with the team. That's the problem. They all are gelling together a little better but Alexis still kinda plays like an individual, not like part of the team just yet. It will work for him, I'm willing to give him time as it's his 1st season and he's already done excellently so far. I worry about his performances in big away games though - it will be cool after a while. He wasn't amazing in his first Barca season - and we all saw how long it took Ozil to get right.

Ozil is looking good right now though - on current form, you probably drop Cazorla and not Ozil which is tough because Cazorla's been one of our better players

Coquelin-Ramsey with Alexis-Ozil-Ox ahead.

Also, Welbeck needs to get better at CF. At this point, I'd rather see Akpom play there LOL

Greizmann easily one of the signings of the season after a rough first 2 months adjusting to Simeone's system.....kids a baller. Another stand out performance from him & Suarez with Turan putting in a MOTM shift in extra-time.

Less said about my Arsenal the better, have been :yeshrug: with our Groundhog Day seasons for the past few years so unfortunitely no shock there with the result. Cue "mental strength" bullshyt qoutes from the players/manager that could be cut & pasted from any of the last few Champions League exits:snooze:
