if I'm United, I'm offering 150 mil this winter transfer window to Barca for Dembele and Semedo

BOOM, their right side solved
now all they would need to do is replace Matic, get a new cm, 2 new cbs, and a striker and they just might make top 4...

crazy if Dembele would want to play under Mourinho.

That kid does need a life line, they are out for his head at Barca and it all looks very :mjpls: to me.

it's mostly the spanish papers and Valp*ssy

But yeah....Semedo's situation is worse because he's a far greater fullback than Roberto :scust:

Valverde on that :mjpls: no doubt

This is one of the many reasons why this club is in the shape it's in :snoop:
5 years of bad decisions from the top to the bottom of the club. Mainly on the coaching and playing staff. If Pep had come in he would have sold 75% of the playing staff. Thats what has been required for a while a complete blow up of the squad and a proper rebuild. The majority of these players have proven numerous times they're simply not good enough under 3 different managers. Not absolving Jose of any blame because his signings have also been questionable but sacking him now inst going to make a difference if they don't blow up the squad and rebuild it.

These internationals have been so bad I think I've crossed the line into "club over country" .

I do like international breaks as I get to see some of the new talents that don't play in some of the bigger leagues that I follow regularly.

Example: Frenkie de Jong and Matthjis de Ligt (to a lesser extent Donny van de Beek). These guys play for Ajax and outside of a few notable matches, I don't get a chance to see them play week in week out. The first two have been tipped as the next "wunderkids" out of the Ajax academy. I saw de Ligt in the match against Germany and dude looked legit alongside VVD.

De Jong has also been quite good in a few matches I've seen him play.

I'm actually looking forward to the the Netherlands vs France match.

If the Dutch can fine tune their attack then they'd be looking scary come 2020. Their back 3 (if they play that way) is already looking scary. VVD, de Ligt, de Vrij.

I would say the issue goes all the way back to the last 2 years of Fergies reign tbh. When the squad was band aided by Fergies ability to get the most out of limited players and the board being cheap with signings.

Is David Gill ever held accountable by United fans? I know Glazers, Woodward, Moyes, LVG, Mourinho, players are the ones generally blamed for United not being United any longer.

Nah, too soon. Maybe 2022/2024

They have some tidy players, but the quality isn't there. Yeah you can go on about the young players, they have, but realistically is the pool of players better or on the level that Belgium were at 4 years ago and the answer is no.

Relying on Hairline in 2020 :mjlol:

Let's wait and see. The game isn't won on paper. Coming to Russia, Germany on paper looked a very capable squad but we saw what happened. Netherlands has a good mix of youth and experience but they just lack that clinical striker upfront. Depay has seen a resurgence but he isn't the Icardi "one chance, one goal" type forward you can rely on.
