I've come to the conclusion that Barney Ronay is not the best guardian sports writer.

Say it quietly, but Scott Murray is head and shoulders the best writer on that entire site, Ronay a close second.

Scott Murray combines genuine humor along with good writing. Ronay has had me laughing before, but Scott Murray is, in general one of the funniest writers I've come across.
