Santos had to stop the game, because people at the Pacaembu have lost their damn minds. Cops out here beating folks and s#it. Now Cuca trying to get at the cops for attacking fans. People tearing the stadium up. This some wild s#it, nothing like the Libertadores.

What's going on with Santos? Heard the fans didn't know they were losing 3-0 and started invading the pitch?![]()
Pato Sanchez got suspended for three CONMEBOL games when he was at River Plate, but he went to play in Mexico and never finished his suspension. He played last week and Independiente filed a complaint, and won. As far as I know this has been litigation all week, and CONMEBOL decided to make a decision today.
CONMEBOL handled this situation terribly from the start. Anybody with common sense knew what was coming. Without that decision the game more than likely goes to penalties, instead we get knocked out by a decision made in an office building.

That Rodrygo kid
He and Vinicius got next up.
Brazil always does a good job of developing young talent through it's domestic league.
If only the Nigerian FA could do the same![]()
Been seeing alot these tweets ever since that embarrassing display on Monday. Hopefully we see something on Sunday
When we draw 1-1 to Burnley![]()

Doesn't the young talent move away from the domestic league anyway, after one good tournament at youth level.
Nigeria like a lot of the African powerhouse football nations, they have so many nationals living elsewhere and young talent who grew up in other countries and playing at a higher level then the local domestic league. They concentrate more on trying not to lose that talent and try to get those players to play for the motherland, instead of nurture the people they have on their doorstep.
Yea, Brazil, Netherlands and Belgium are noted for using their domestic league to prepare young talent to excel in Europe and then represent their countries at the international level. For some reason a lot of the African powerhouses have been unable to replicate this model effectively.
