second gen brehs, would yall play for your parents country if you couldn't get called into your place of birth?
When I was a kid I was a legitimately good pitcher. I wouldn’t have been good enough to play for the US, but I definitely would have been good enough to play for Brasil’s WBC team at some point. Playing for Brasil was always my dream though. Regardless of the sport that’s the only country I’ve ever supported.
Then I injured my shoulder my Junior year of high school being an idiot, and I couldn’t throw the same anymore. The thing that hurt the most wasn’t that I missed out on scholarships and potentially getting drafted, it was missing out on playing for my Dad’s country. He would have been so proud. That still hurts me to this day :thiagofacepalm:


.You would think after the shambolic WC qualifying campaign and the poor displays in the AFCON they would have humbled themselves , but nah.
