No Crespo was still in his prime. The problem is that as an Argentine kid he fell in love with Milan.. Not just the club but the City, food, bytchs, the fact that footballers were treated like Demi Gods in Iitaly. Inter Milan had a gang of Argentines too that time who used to play with Crespo at River Plate and all these guys live in the same neighborhoods whether you play for Milan or Inter.
Basically he was having the time of his life and playing for a laid back OG like Ancellotti.. Then he was literally forced to go to Chelsea, he didn't wanna go in 2005 either and Mourinho didn't want or need him so he was allowed to stay at Milan on loan. England had garbage food, weird football culture, strict coaches, average looking broads, terrible weather, new language etc etc the contrast between that and Milan just made Crespo lose his love and feel for the Game. Be even spoke of his depression at the time. His season highlights for 2006 are fire still.

Crespo would never ever talk shyt about Chelsea. Abramovich was paying his extremely expensive salary, he was allowed to stay on loan in Italy in 04/05 he also was allowed to join inter with 2 years left in his contract at Chelsea. He owes Chelsea and Abramovich a whole lot. If you frequented football sites, articles, forums etc in that era you'd know how much Crespo truly loved Italy. Here's an article from 8 August 2006.

Fellas it's been great while it lasted. I've been watching football for over 20 years. You won't see me posting on this thread ever again. It was amazingreminiscing on past legends like Riquelme etc.
Most so-called football fans just wanna have trivial arguments about absolutely nothing.
If any one knows any forums or sites or even whatsapp groups dedicated to a more mature grounded "purist" football fan please do share. Any place where there's little argument goofy stuff.
I lurked the Coli for close to 5 years. The quality of posts has truly plummeted since those 2012-2014 days, i digress.
