You're not gonna get the attention or respect you want because the oil-rich club that outspends its way to trophies just isn't that popular. Buying the best talent wins games, and that's true for any squad, so no shade to Man City, but wouldn't it be more honest to show the net spend over the past two or three seasons at the very least? After all, Man City didn't build their squad just this year. They've been in the market previous seasons as well to construct the squad, after all. What was their net spend for the past few seasons?

Obviously City have spent money, and the money had to he spent to catch up. Now we don't have to spend as much and other teams like Liverpool have spent 475m in 3 years and still can't win it all.
