The Major Lazer sound in most-part rooted in 90's dancehall and 80's lovers rock. Diplo also has a particular affinity for early 80's tunes which are on the fuzzy dancehall/lovers rock line as the dancehall genre was starting to take form at the time, but that doesn't really find it's way into Lazer's music as much. That Don't Let it Get to Your Head joint is early reggae, for the sake of easier categorizing, skinhead reggae. Black Harmony were even a British group. Saying you don't like reggae is almost as much of a blanket statement as saying you don't like rock breh breh.
Beres Hammond - Cant Stop A Man - YouTube
Sizzla - Dry Cry - YouTube
Two of the biggest tunes of all time.
That's Sizzla's biggest, but that ain't Beres's biggest.

. Then you have RG comin in sayin that brehs are outlandish with what they sayin about Taker recently.
with Takers entrance if he did a Apollo Creed Rocky IV one. Dead man pun
