Yeah. Didn't make him grow ovaries though.RIP Diaby
Think I heard the same about Vieria with one of his legs being longer than the other.

he was beastly until Terry headbutted his foot and busted itLoved the result obviously but can remember being frustrated as fack during that final.I remember Diaby in that Carling Cup finalhe was beastly until Terry headbutted his foot and busted it

All true, but Wenger doesn't mention that here:Fair enough. Just looked at Vieria's appearances and he averaged about 45 for most of his Arsenal prime. Did tail off pretty badly towards the end of his career though looking at his Inter apps. Looking back now he did have an ungainly running pattern, can remember it looking a bit awkward
But tbf to Diaby if one of your legs is shorter than the other that affects your back which is going to create all sorts of problems for anybody let alone a professional athlete.
He will never be the Vieira we wanted...
We got Pogba now![]()
he seems like a very humble and good dude as well. All true, but Wenger doesn't mention that here:
"I can tell you he has been everywhere in the world to be assessed. There is an explanation. He is quick, strong, has good stamina, good resistance to repeat, but his muscle strength is not good enough to deal with that. Sometimes little fibres go in his muscles, this is basically his problem.
"When you play every three days, you cannot rebuild your strength as you need to recover. When you don't rebuild your strength, through the games you burn your fibres a bit and become weaker and weaker, so that means he gets injured.
"The second reason for his problems of course is his ankle. Since he was slaughtered at Sunderland, his mobility in his ankle has been affected."

The football we played in that final full season under Mourinho was facking appalling and I fear he'll bring that back if he returns.![]()

Yeah, and on top of that, the few appearances he made with France the past few years were great, our midfield would really have been something else with an healthy Diaby.I remember Blanc talking about wanting to build his midfield around him. Sad sh1t,he seems like a very humble and good dude as well.

He will.
Back then werent it that he was tryin to accommodate Sheva & Ballack in the line up with Makelelelele, Essien & Lumps and iirc he went back to his diamond midfield he had used at Porto at times. It was also Drogbas breakout season totalled his goal tally from the previous 2 seasons together that year.

He's back for sure ?
Why do you need him, now that you won the CL ?![]()
