Savage is giving it the squad depth excuse. While that is true in some regard. The problem is Ole doesn't know how to rotate the team properly. He makes 6-7 changes they lose then he loses trust in those squad players and then don't get seen again till a cup tie. Iirc when Fergie first started doing squad rotation it was no more than 3-4 players at most. That's why they were always use to accelerate from the title challengers in March and April because everyone was still fresh. And knew what players suited certain games in the run in.
