I think so. But I don’t get the point you’re trying to make? We have in theory got him cheaper this summer. If Dortmund want 110m then that’s the price, their valuation is the price. We could have paid it but refused. Now they’ve accepted around our original offer, we’ve saved, they’ve lost out.

My original point was Dortmund weren't going to accept an low ball offer 10-15-20m lower than what United offered last in 2020. And I said Dortmund wouldn't lose that much and it would get done between 70-80m and I was correct on both.

Varane is better than Lindelof but we still need a DM. I’m not gung-ho crazy about Rice. Bissouma or Ndidi would be far better business for us.

Not familiar with him but just wikied him, his numbers for TFC look pretty good; 12 goals from 36 matches. Smart move on his part, USA are pretty deep at forward.

He was very good last year, has had a drop off this year. Still young though and good to see we are building depth.
