Saul is kind of a jack of all trades, master of none type of player. He’s good at everything, but he’s not great at any one thing. When he’s at his best you can play him anywhere in the midfield and get at least a competent performance. Whatever he doesn’t have in skill he makes up with his work rate and IQ. But expecting him to play as a holding midfielder 100% of the time would be a stretch.
