I disagree. If anything this game was testament to the rotating pivot of ESR and Odegaard with Partey sitting right in the circle. Even bringing on Sambi/AMN is a good sign. I thought Odegaard would be muzzled playing further back, but he looked as good as I've seen him.

Saka does need rest and Auba isn't the #9 for this set up. I'd much prefer Lacazette because he does more dropping back and allowing the wings to attack.

What happened to Sterling?

Strong possibility that he has peaked. He hasn't been really good since before Rona. He's in his 11th season as a pro. 10th as a regular first team player. Nearly clocked up 500 appearances (he should get there in the next couple of fixtures)and isn't even 27 till December.
