Granted I don't watch him week in week out but from what I've seen of him recently he's great at helping mop up in shyt in midfield... Receive the ball under pressure and play a safe pass

Tbf, I'm not sure what Gary can do about a mate in that position. He has repeatedly said they're not a team, not organised and don't have a system or style of play which is calling out Ole without saying his name or blatantly saying Ole is not good enough. Which is what I imagine anyone would do if their mate is in that position.
