Crazy how the Prem works now. Aston Villa wanted him to stay but couldn't guarantee him minutes and they won't loan him out to another Prem team that is competing against them for places in the league.
Might as well sign for a top 6 club, get paid relatively big money compared to your age mates and then gain experience in the league with a Palace or somebody.
