Martinelli is still useful and talented, but he needs to earn his starting spot back.

It's controversial, I know, but he's the best English talent I've ever seen. He's world class and is capable of playing in any team in the world. I am talking in terms of ball control, vision, playmaking, dribbling etc. This is a skillset very different from the typical English player. Even Gerrard and Lampard in their prime didn't have ALL of these attributes in a package like this. Reminds me of an athletic Iniesta. Don't forget he's just 23...when he hits his prime it won't even be a conversation.
