So Roma sacked Mou to get De Rossi only to finish in the same position (6th) and with the same points total as last year (63).

But it wasn’t someone else. Playing as a nailed on starter for Madrid for a decade is a flex in of itself, but to then win that many trophies?
Many players have come and played for Real Madrid but few have won 22 trophies, let alone 4, possibly 5 UCLs.

Neither of them beat any of the teams that finished above Roma. The one thing you could always on count with Mourinho was getting results aka wins vs the big teams. That was lacking this season and the football was dire. You could see how liberated the players were when the Iberian Terrorist was sent away.

I find it interesting when fans of clubs and their execs deem a trophy to mean something or when it's bullshyt.
ETH wins the FA Cup but has a terrible campaign otherwise. I understand why they'd look elsewhere but does the FA Cup mean nothing?

Reality is, trophies are hard currency in football so he definitely has a case to stay but theres just as strong a case for him to be sacked if you look at how the team has performed for 95% of the season. I can't complain if he gets sacked or if he gets to stay. I think its likely he gets sacked though but we'll see.
