Grav can do a lot of it, he’s not press resistant to the elite level Curtis is and he’s not pulling off that moment because he’s not as strong on the ball as Curtis is, though in theory he should be because I give him the edge in athleticism. Curtis has been anything but inconsistent, he’s always delivered, it’s always been about believing in himself and getting an injury free run. The switch flipped for him in 022/23 when he finally understood he could play his game freely and he belongs here and almost got us to Top 4 single-handedly He’s had a mostly clean run this season and Slot has shown he’s a starter for him in the 3 with the selections

As Zidane has aura its hard for people to have an actual discussion about him. It is true to a degree. BUT he turned up in the big games like the BEST players in the world are suppose to. Sometimes it was jsut that one moment and sometime like the Portgual Euro 2000 Semi or theBrasil QF in 2006 he would put on masterclass for the ages.

I use to bring this up on SOHH years ago. And then Michael Cox has also mentioned this either on the Athletic or in his book Zonal Marking. I'm guessing the video creator most likely got it from Michael Cox and then a deep dive. Or there's been things in the media recently how Zidane could of gone to Blackburn or Newcastle. And then there the story of how Yanited were interested in him at Euro 96 where he had a stinker of a tournament and that cooled their interest and it came out that Fergie pulled the plug as he didnt want to upset Cantona. Tbf to Zidane he basically played from July 1st 95 all the way around to June 26th 96.
