I'll be blunt; anyone blaming Wirtz for yesterday is either lazy or doesn't know ball.

Wirtz should have 4-5 assists by now. He's created some great chances. It wouldn't surprise me if he was near the top for chances created this season in all comps.

Salah has been especially wasteful and he ain't got the pace anymore to get by defenders. He's been good the last couple season of masking his washedness but those days appear to be done. And it's only going to get worse after AFCON.

This is when we really miss Jota. I'd trust Chiesa to start over Salah too, but people would be crying for Diogo to start over Mo if he was still alive.
