Sooo Wolf of Wall Street, my general feeling:
It just was. There was nothing, one dimensional characters (probably the point), there wasn't a deeper message about the hedonistic lifestyle of wall street or America or about excess, it wasn't cerebral, it wasn't funny if it was trying to be a dark comedy, as a satire it was lacking, there was drama for like, 5 minutes, after that, there was nothing. It was a nothing movie about a boat and drugs. Music wasn't bad though.
In all honestly I'm sorta hot I spent money and time on that nonsense.
And let's be even more honest, some of Leo's acting was fukking terrible. Actually, it ranged, sometimes it was good, other times I thought it had to be a joke. Like when Naomi is splashing him with water in bed, that scene was so bad it was laughable :lulz:
Thing is Spring Breakers did the whole American-excess bloated debauchery much better and was much more clever about it. Two different worlds depicted, yes, there are some similarities though.
