I've been thinking and seeing coverage about Colbert taking over for Letterman. I haven't watched late night talk shows in years and not even Colbert can get me to watch them. I do feel like the internet love for Jon Stewart and Colbert is very overstated.
I mean I have watched the Daily Show and the Colbert Report and they are funny but people trumpet them like they're some vital organ for American democracy and politics which is a bit absurd. back in middle school, 8th grade (13-14 years old) specifically, we used to do it to random people in the hallway. Diamondcutters, stone cold stunners, etc, anyone could get it. We would do it to our brehs who were in on the joke and to folks who had no idea what wrestling were (wimminz). I personally stopped once I accidentally grabbed a girl's boob.
