Hey they had to put the AR in there for something, unless 343 is incompetent and blatantly made the DMR the ONLY useful gun which I doubt.
Edit: Took a few dudes to school three matches in a row with the AR against the DMR. I use mobility to run like crazy and get up close and personal. Up close a DMR is most likely going to fail against a good aiming player with the AR or any other automatic weapon.
