Halo 2 is the GOAT Halo, then 1, part 3, then somewhere along the line is Reach, Reach is Nastradamus/Blueprint 3 status
The honeymoon phase is over. However with a patch and better 4v4 maps it could be. I love halo but I'm not a sheep or headless chicken.
Edit: halo 1 is the goat halo, period. The only thing halo 2 has over it is online multiplayer.
I played reach till halo 4 dropped. Halo 4 has bigger issues than reach. The guns r great in h4 but the mechanics are terrible. We coul actually turn off sprint in reach, bloom was my only issue till the patch. We can't toggle sprint, spawn settings don't work (can't turn off instant spawn), default weapon spawns n timers are horrible. H4 got a lot that needs to be patched and tweaked.
It's not that I'm disagreeing with what you're saying, but you're comparing a game(Reach) that had a 2-3 year life cycle, to Halo 4, that has only been out for 2 weeks.
edit. Just give the game some time, you know the Halo devs try to accommodate to everyone.
The things I'm listing should have never made it past testing. 343 thought it was cool to mimic another game like bungie tried and failed like they did. I don't buy halo to play a wannabe cod game, I but it for halo.
When they patch the issues it's going to turn into reach with every playlist having different mechanics, which is stupid.

This is exactly how I play
I'll make eye contact with a dude, he'll start shooting. I start sprinting. Always sprinting around corners. Then I'll stop to see if he's still following, then continue running.
