I've read Grammy predictions and everybody keeps saying Macklemore will win Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, and Album of the Year (Kendrick's most valued categories)

Kendrick definitely won't win AOTY. Kendrick is actually an outlier in that category, nobody knows who he is compared to the other nominees.

Daft Punk's album really fits in line with what Grammy voters like for AOTY. It has a real old school vibe, from the 70s Paul Williams track, to Fragments Of Time which might as well be a Steely Dan song. And of course Get Lucky and the other disco vibes on the album.

I refuse to believe Kendrick got 100+ AOTY votes, just doesn't make sense when you consider how many old white voters are on the board. I'm not knocking them, I just don't think they'd pick GKMC over Daft Punk.
