For the most part, but they tend to just lean on whoever the voters' kids say is on top or back out with something.

Jay-Z had a run. Em had one. Kanye had a run. YMCMB had a time. Now it's Kendrick's turn. You had outliers like Ludacris and Macklemore but it tends to be the same people.

Now the question will be who emerges as the person who wins when Kendrick is on a break. It would be Drake except Drake I don't think wants to submit his shyt for consideration anymore, so the door is open.

Yea but if you look at past winners, the Grammys very often give big awards to legends who don't deserve it. Robert Plant, Herbie Hancock, etc etc. Not saying Hov doesn't deserve it, but clearly Kendrick had the bigger album.

I think Drake is done with the Grammys since HLB was put in the rap category when it was one of the biggest songs ever
