All this shows is that Kamala is a political neophyte and coward who would most likely not be willing to take the risk of pursuing a new, moral policy in response to this crisis. The calculus doesn't go away after the election. She would have a political agenda she'd be looking to pass, and pissing off the Zionist lobby would be an active consideration in her Administration. People blamed Biden for the attack but I and others pointed out that the attacks took place because Trump had begun normalization process in the Middle East. Once relations with Israel are normalized the destruction of Israel as a Jewish state is not even a pipe dream anymore. Hamas entire ethos is over.

Unfortunately for Hamas, the Muslim world outside the Houthis and Iran did not react the way they thought. Their biggest allies ended up being college students and immigrants in the west. Saw a lot of reactions about how they would have no choice but to unite against Israel.

Hell if I get conspiracy brained for a minute, I think there was a coordinated effort to get Trump back into office by the Gulf Arabs. The deals in Dearborn, the recent twerk fest they put on for him. It’s clear Trump is their guy.

The general argument is: Yes, Harris supported a genocide at a 7, but Trump supports it at a 9, so anything that falls between 7 and 9 on the genocide scale should require some deep introspection and soul-searching from those who were viewed as insufficiently nice to Harris on the topic of Gaza. That’s a good idea. Not sure where her headspace is at right now but if she had that type of political savvy she would have come closer to winning.

I don’t think she cares deeply about Gaza enough to put her neck out there to take the threats from Trump and blowback from the media to do so but at the same time if she held all the cards as the President I think she would be handling Gaza better.

Two things can be true, she might not care about the Palestinians but at the same time she would be better than Trump
