The 90s, just like the Disco era, had power singers as well. I'm sure old heads from the 70s and 80s complained about how the music sounded in the 90s, but they couldn't question their voices which seems to be the topic.

Beyonce, Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson, CB, Usher, Miguel, and that's about in the last two decades.
