The Pod is a business . Joe is the CEO, he can tell Rory to sit down . Nikkas who never had a job like Mal don’t understand that .
Don’t do this. Joe like to mix the 2. He leans wherever he feels makes him right. He basically exposed it by saying he was upset at Amal for taking Rory side. That shyt ain’t about no fukking business nikka. Stop it.

I’m not talking about Joe prob with Mal, I’m talking about Mal having an issue with Joe telling Rory to sit down without discussing it. That is not any of Mal business if Joe doesn’t deem it necessary . Mal is a worker , they can spew all that “we built this “ shyt all they want , but that pod is about Joe and he is the boss . This is why a lot of times friendships and business don’t go together . Joe protecting the brand, Mal trying to protect feelings.

So in summary....

Rory and Joe had some off air issues for a while. Rory went on that other podcast with them broads and said that shyt about not being passionate about podding or caring about a pod network. That put Joe over the edge, so he suspended Rory via Text message. Mal got mad because he didn't think Joe had the right to make that decision on his own. They met up and Joe told him that he's the boss and Mal is a worker, so Mal went on strike. Rory immediately started trying to figure out how to fix shyt while Joe grabbed his other friends and tried to continue on business as usual, while Mal pouted in the corner like a child. After the pod proved the Mixy Boys were replaceable, they all eventually got together to hash things out. The end all be all is that as far as the Pod goes, Joe is the boss, the other 2 are employees, and moving forward the Pod will be business and friend shyt will be outside.

Did I miss anything?

That’s what I got from it . Seems like Mal was upset that Joe didn’t run it past him first , but I don’t think he should have . Mal don’t understand that that nikka Joe is THE Boss. Seems like Rory understood that quite clear and that’s why he agreed with Joe .

That miscommunication is on Mal tho. You a damn near 40 yr old man and you can’t recognize that your man is the boss and he’s gnna have to make boss moves . That’s him never being in a real “working” setting . Joe shouldn’t have to openly flaunt his authority or position. If you ask me, he has been doin them a favor by NOT openly saying that and treating them as equals. But at the end of the day the man is your boss, he has his own network . You are naturally gnna speak two different languages because you are on two different levels.

You have solid point. I’ll take it as him thinking “his man” wouldn’t pull rank like that.

I think mal feels the friendship should come 1st before the business. As your mans for over 20 years mal feels joe shoulda had a convo and from that convo a decision could be made about rory . Thats where the respect comes from for Mal. Joes words about this being none of nals business will resurface again

As much as I have defended Mal... he acted like a stone cold bytch. He was deeeeeep in his you hurt my feelings bag. Them nikkas must used to be fukk buddies or something. I ain’t NEVER been that hurt cause a friend said it’s none of my business. Obviously Joe was mad and worked up at the time he said it and didn’t mean it like that. This nikka unfollowed the show on social media like a hoe cause he didn’t wanna see other nikkas thriving in the spot that he left.

Rory was a cool lil white flunky do boy for Joe that got too big to stay in that role. When he pressed his big homie to try to prove that he is a big dog too he got sat down and put back in his spot. Now he running back with his tail tucked to secure his seat on the train.

Joe is a psycho that’s honestly afraid of conflict and tap danced around speaking free because he would fit the narrative of what people think about him. He DID tell them nikkas that he doesn’t respect them as equals and that he will continue without them. But you could clearly tell that he wanted to use much different wording.

They all some hoes... they got way too many emotions. This is a prime example of why “toxic”masculinity is important. Real men would have had it out, screamed at each other (maybe scrapped) and laughed about it afterwards. Rory talking about us men need to talk to each other more. No Rory you just felt yourself falling out with the celebrity friend and had a meltdown. They thought they were going to teach Joe a lesson and ended up getting replaced like an old tooth brush.

Nah, not in a multi -million dollar organization . You don’t stop or postpone the podcast because you feel “disrespected “ because your man(who is actually your boss) tells you to stay out of the way and let him handle his other employee . Mal can feel however he wants to feel but all he did was get his wake up call to what his actual position is.

I still think they gotta work out some issues

but conflict with friends is normal and i'm sure they will work it out

and if not Joe will move on and replace him..
