i feel everything you saying bro. 100%

what are your thoughts on what I broke down earlier about Mal and Rory?

Do you think Joe played Mal and Rory? What should Joe have done with Mal and Rory?

Is it about ownership? Is it about money?

When Joe was going on his rants last summer about shyt not being fair at Spotify, talking that Big Dog Jay z shyt. Word to mother he was talking a lot of “WE” shyt. “Spotify wants a percentage of all of Mal and Rory’s earning outside of Spotify” “They gave us Rollie’s and no vacations” We riding together.

Now I just feel like Joe switched it on them and is like y’all my workers, y’all can be replaced. Which is super fukked up attitude to have to people who supported your vision and helped you in some way shape or form build your JBP to be what it is, they was there with you. They don’t deserve that treatment, especially if you call them your friends. Real friends don’t do that and try to make things right behind the scenes or at least talk it out and come to an understanding.

If Rory was calling me out to fight and this shyt is serious and he my friend. I would have a 1 on 1 with him about what’s going on and why he feel like that? I’m not trynna fight somebody that’s my friend over some dumb shyt and misunderstanding.

Joe violated Rory and Mal as an OG Joe Budden friend told Joe, Bro you kinda buggin and then Joe turned around and violated Mal which made it go left. Like he didn’t ever give a fukk or appriciate them and that’s fukked up. That’s what they trynna convey and people not understanding.

it’s not about the money or business cuz that can always be worked out. Is about the principle and respect. Like how you gonna try and son ya manz?

when there was no podcast, who was there always supporting you and rocking with you.

nikka Mal use to be in the studio with Joe on blogtv when he was making that trash ass escape routue album everyday in 09 in that hot azz cheap ass studio sweating. Just being ya manz. C’mon my nikka, wtf is wrong with Joe, fukk him.

Mal need to have self respect and stop fukkin with Joe like that. His big bro is Biggs and he still rockin making moves. He need to rock with his real family, but that’s if Mal wants to have or build his own shyt.

Mal a cool nikka and can easily work with Biggs on their weed company and working with other industry artist. This shyt is nothing. He got the foundation, def don’t need to be taking shyt from Joe.
Yall nikkaz are obsessed with these men. WTF. :scust:

Joe started this pod like 3 or 4 years ago. I remember Mal being there smoking joints. I also remember Mal from the JBTV/BlogTV days this is like 08/09/010 type shyt. He been rocking with Joe for years and always been a loyal friend.

The thing is. Joe built this JBP thing and everything with it,yes.

Only thing I think Mal was trying to say was that he also helped built this house. Build the pod and became an essential part of that, and they wanted to be included a bit more. But they needed to been understand this is Joe’s thing and this is only a stepping stone to get their name out and build they’re own shyt, cuz Joe not thinking like that.

He don’t want y’all input or making decisions with him on his vision and his shyt.

This is a sensitive topic and Joe mishandled this with them, and it’s almost disrespectful how he dealt with it. For Joe it’s like “The audacity of these nikkaz” But in reality these your friends, real homies “allegedly”. You needed to deal with this differently with a more delicate approach. These to nikkaz for real you respect them.

Respect is the biggest thing, people die over that shyt. Say suck my dikk to the wrong mothafukka in traffic and they could be your last words.

Mal need to see it for what it is, take the new fame he got from this and try to do his
own lil thing.

Maybe a weed smoking show with guests he could interview. He connected heavy, has popularity because of the podcast, and can do his own shyt if he wants.

fukk taking bullshyt from Joe. It’s a two way street. If Joe can be good without them who helped him with the podcast in the beginning. So can they.

they just need to boss up and not be bytches. This is a choice, no victims.

Mal could do something with his sports connects. He really could. Just a weekly sports/weed whatever show. His sporting views are sometimes wild but I think he could pull a weekly Pod off

I'm 25 mins into this....

If this is how the rest of the pod energy is, I can't see how they continue being on the show.
The way it's going it looks like they just came back to address the situation.
Doesn't look like they want to be there.

Mal talks in circles so it's kinda hard to nail down the overall point he's trying to make, but I think what he was trying to argue is that they could have solved whatever issue they had before stopping the show. He said a couple times that they peaced it up quick after finally meeting and I feel like he was trying to say that it would have been quicker to talk to them than scramble to find replacements.
Parks low key called Mal out on this too. He ignored Joe for an entire weekend. Mal was strategic with his “i was busy all weekend” plea at the beginning of his explanation but him being mad they replaced him is stupid. The respect part is valid and to me, so is the “sending Rory home” without it being a group decision. But Mal sounds like my wife who storms off after an argument and is mad i don’t go after her to peace it up right away.

Yeah I don't understand how anyone could take that level of disrespect from a so called friend, It might be a wrap.

Joe now knows that Ice and Ish can work, he no longer fears losing money for going in a new direction. It sucks cause I liked the chemistry between the three of them, but I can't deny that the last few episodes have been far more entertaining than the past year with rory and mal.

The new situation is better anyway because ice and ish came on the show sharing stories about almost fukking Joe up so they both most likely have a better understanding of who joe is and the extent of their relationship. They arent coming in with any delusions over their role on the podcast, and know not to buy into any of that creator equity bullshyt joe be selling every now and then.

My only concern is ice and ish becoming more dialed back in due time because I don't know if Joe will continue allowing them to say shyt that could jeopardize his industry relationships forever.
Joe is the Lebron James of his podcast. You could probably take 2 nikkas off the coli and he could make it work. He’s really fukking good at this shyt.

For the record...it appears the Podding is all of their main source of incomes right now, Parks, Mal, Rory and Joe as well as the staff.

They all like the (easy) money, but I think they're all crazy enough to leave it on the table too. Maybe not Parks, he not psycho
From Joe’s perspective they look nuts for being this combative when this is the easiest gig they will ever see in their life. Thats why hes such an a$$hole to them, to him their role is too easy and they should never complain.

But even Ak admitted that Joe is hiding the real money, they only see thousands while he touches 7 figures.

I dunno if their beef was about the pod or some other friendship-level shyt to be honest. It doesn't necessarily seem to be money. When asked directly they all said they were eating well.

I think with the pandemic absolutely. I’m sure people haven’t really recorded music all that much because of Covid so Parks is lower then usual. Joe losing out on state of the culture and interviews with his other YouTube show. Rory can’t do any dussepaloozas. We don’t know what Mal does so probably nothings changed there.

I think that’s why Parks sided with Joe too. Like they’re all living off this podcast right now. And risking it over a petty beef with Joe, who they’ve known is reckless with his mouth, is silly. Joe is the star. As much as they all contribute, he still carries them. I can tell Rory regrets being the reason everything is off because i don’t think he agrees with what Mal did 100%.

Transparency in the business is being brought up every other sentence.
Mal seems like a minimalist but he still wants a say in deals. Rory has mentioned being broke

:pachaha: This YT comment is actually fax:

"All my fellow HR people know that the boss sometimes wants to tell people not to show up for work-which is what Joe did. But HR has to tell them what they should do because of the consequences. There was an old episode where they stated Mal was HR. Mal did the right thing as a “HR” person."
