I don't get it, nikkas on here justify him airing out Spotify because they supposedly wanted ownership of the pod. Ok? Why burn the bridge and relationships? Don't sign the deal, that don't mean you gotta be unprofessional about it.

I get his position of "this is my podcast, you two are here to help and get an easy bag. I'm taking the meeting, bringing deals in, etc"

But I also completely understand Rory and Mal feeling like they need some security and ownership since they are part of the talent.

But embarrassing and tarnishing their name is nuts. It's one of the most memorable laws of power:

This isn’t true at all. Your contract could have a restrictive covenant that exists like 18 months after your separation. We have no idea what their contract language looks like.

Contracts get torn up in court all the time.

Especially if they're being termed as "employees"... You can't tell them to starve for 18 months. What's the rationale for the clause? Is there some special IP?

I'd actually love to see Joe's coked up ass try to argue this in court.

Wouldn't it be because it's His YouTube page, and they could've made their own and show the pod on their own channel as well as other things they would be doing as well.

The podcast name says Rory & Mal What exactly is the problem with him sharing? You justifying his greedy behavior for what?
