You dudes are funny, Joe's whole shyt is ownership and creators should own what they create. Therefore it doesn't matter if its 1k or 100k rory and mal should absolutely own a percentage of the podcast. I don't listen to him for obvious reasons, but someone posted a brillant idiots episode here dicussing them leaving spotify last year. Schultz essentially said rory and mal are idiots for allowing Joe to have full creative control over their livelihood and that everyone on brillant idiots owns a percentage of the podcast even the fukking camera man. Not one man can make such life changing decisions like joe does without answering questions

I don't blame Parks' stance on this situation at all, but he do be sounding nuts with all the "mhmm", "that's a big one", "no, you're right" after Joe says anything. Even if you agree shut the fukk up with that shyt sometimes.

Side note...I might be off but just from observation it seems to me everyone else in the room was kind of tired both of them from a workspace point of view. They probably genuinely like Mal & Rory as guys but the energy in that room felt like when they left for a month and felt like when they came back. I hope Mal & Rory really do talk their side somewhere though and don't just cryptically tweet. Big picture I don't think people will care past like a week or 2, but for now the thing they have going for them is that Joe is so unlikable.

I can see both sides but that's an easy check and they should of easily branched out and made other moves with that platform. rory and mal look like bums imo. it's the joe budden podcast, they are replaceable.

Ask anyone who runs a business what is the hardest thing to do without a doubt it's managing people. Joe is showing people he is not fit to run his product cause he can't manage people. Regardless if he is right which I think he is. Their better ways to handle this. if Joe can not see that he will never be able to get where he wants to be and that is at Joe Rogan's level.

This caveat as well Joe ain't that bright on the matter of the contract. In every NDA and NCC contract, there is a general governing section that says where the participants have agreed to follow the rules and lay of the land. Now unless they had NDA and NCC which governed a lot of countries or an international agreement that is damn expensive and long to craft they can easily set up an LLC in a different country. Mal and Rory could easily make an offshore onshore company from the Caribbean to bypass it. Joe if you're on the forum and reading this they can do this. I have done this, many people have done this for way bigger companies than his.

Exclude the original agreed-upon country in contact A for the governing section. Than host said product on servers that are part of the business structure outside of the so-called agreed governing body in contract A in the original NDA or NCC Mali and Rory are back in business.

Joe handled this wrong very wrong.

Joe really got mad at ctg and Andrew Schultz for critiquing the way he publicized his spotify deal, talking about how they didn't understand equity and ownership like he does. They were out there living how Joe was preaching with their podcast, while Joe was doing the opposite.

Joe wouldnt look like an a$$hole if he didn't spend months talking ownership equity bullshyt, with rory and Mal awkwardly nodding their heads in the background knowing this nikka was truly full of shyt.

If there's one thing I can say Joe was absolutely right about is that mal and rory made no attempt to use the podcast to create their own platform.

Simple shyt like mal compiling all his ridiculous takes to upload to his own YouTube channel would have went a long way. Rory could have done the same. These dude really have no presence outside of joe budden.

They have no presence in the public eye which doesn't mean they're not doing anything. To be clear I don't have a clue but it's weird to see all these assumptions.

I'm not hating on Parks knowing his role, but if his role is just "mhming" and being Joe's hype man it doesn't make for a good listen.
