Try to be the black Joe rogan to some degree. No reason why he can't have guests/artists/actors once a week.
Joe is way too much of an a$$hole for that type of show. Only a handful of people willing to sit down and talk to this dude for more than 15 minutes without having to slap his ass.

Dude was foaming at the mouth acting like a lunatic interviewing people on everyday struggle.

:pachaha:

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
You talkin about LeBetard? He’s openly said that other people on the show besides him own equity in the show. Equity isn’t this golden nugget of unattainability that some of yall think it is.
Son the way they went about that shyt was violation period. And Joe doesn’t HAVE to give a nikka equity in his shyt man. fukk kinda entitled ass mentality is this?

It’s on one of the first episodes Parks was on. Joe used to always joked that parks & Mal had beef. One of those pods joe came out and said Mal didn’t want Parks on the show. Awkward silence happened. Mal julezed his way out of it and it was never mentioned again

Seem like these nikkas don’t know how to pick their battles. Parks has been more valuable than Mal for a long time :unimpressed:

Like I’ve said in this thread multiple times I’ve owned equity in the last 3 companies I’ve worked at, and I’m no C-suite level exec, so maybe I’m just more ‘entitled’ with what I give my time value to than others.

You think it’s wild to want equity in a company you helped build, and I think it’s wild that some people think equity is an insane thing to ask for. It’s ok for us to disagree on that

never understood the lack of ad stuff to be honest. joe argues it breaks up the flow

but he could have one at the beginning and end like many podcasts do.

I think only a handful I listen to do mid roll ads.
A 30 second ad really ain’t a big deal. Million dollars worth of game throw ads in the middle all the time, I mean it sucks, but not enough to make me not want to hear the show.

Everybody that listens to this podcast grew up with commercials anyways.

the "audit" was and indirect way of him asking for more money, which isn't transparent and they all called that out as where he crossed the line

we can't spin the narrative man, he had already offered his hands to Joe on air too :dead: habitual line stepper

AND he a Cac on a black owned product talking primarily about black people :russ: look at how comfortable he was

edit: MAN HOLD UP NOW IM DONE :dead: let's really analyze

used the platform to help promote your other business venture (which featured black people of course) Hennypalooza

the connections from the black owned pod got you a situation with Dusse (black owned) for Dussepalooza and plugged it all the time

went to the Roc Nation brunch (event celebrating black success) with your black girlfriend and proposed to her....while leaving ya black coworkers from Palooza out the event

only to find out he was "allegedly" cheating on his black queen :russ: (gossip but still hilarious in context)

oh AND he in a BLACK FRATERNITY on video steppin, happy as shyt

that cac was WYLIN :laff:
So what ur saying is if Rory was black Ud feel a different way?

On the flip side, I’m starting to think that yall don’t think enough of yourselves to think of something like a small equity stake as something you can attain, or even deserve.

It’s very common for startups and other companies to handout equity packages. I’ve had equity stakes in the last 3 companies I’ve worked at and I’m not some C-Suite level executive.

It’s also very common for podcasts of this size to give out equity / ownership to others on the show, even behind the scenes people. Rory and Mal were both there well before the 100th episode, and they’re into the 400s now. They’ve been there for 90% of the growth the podcast has seen.

Just because you don’t value yourself enough to think of something like equity as attainable, don’t project that on other people in other ventures.

As I'm reading through all these pages, I can't help but notice you might be the stupidest person in this thread. Welcome to the ignore list, this discussion just got a lot shorter and more tolerable :umad:
