He wanted them to do their own shyt to get his "network" off the ground. His involvement would have been getting a cut off their pods. Meanwhile, he didn't want them to have equity in the JBP or in the network smh. Why make the next nikka rich???

Ill take it further then that. In a lot of ways, friends can be closer then actual siblings because you choose your friends.
